Meet our team
Jane
Jane is a certified 200-hour yoga teacher and instructor in Myofascial Release (MFR), Les Mills RPM Spin, Les Mills Pilates, and PoundFit. With a genuine passion for movement and creating meaningful connections, she finds joy in guiding others on their wellness journeys. Her exploration of yoga began over 30 years ago during her undergraduate studies at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Rooted in her Indian heritage through her father, Jane developed a deep curiosity about the philosophy and history of yoga, which continues to inspire her practice today. She furthered her dedication to inclusive wellness by earning a Master’s degree in Adapted Physical Education, enabling her to empower individuals of all abilities to embrace movement and cultivate their well-being.
Jane is particularly inspired by yoga as a holistic practice that harmonizes the mind, body, and spirit.
Holly
Holly is a Yoga Alliance-certified (200-hour) yoga and Myofascial Release (MFR) instructor. She is also a wildlife biologist and nature writer. While her passions may seem diverse, they are united by a common thread: a deep commitment to kindness, respect, and compassion—toward our planet, others, and most importantly, ourselves. With over 30 years of yoga practice, Holly brings a unique blend of expertise and experience to her teaching, offering classes in a variety of settings—from the deck of scientific research ships in the Arctic (yes, yoga in snow pants!) to private gyms and has happily arrived at Boathouse Wellness.
Holly's classes are a welcoming space designed to nurture, challenge, and celebrate each participant. She infuses her teaching with compassion, warmth, and humor, ensuring every body, heart, and mind feels valued and embraced—just as they are.
